The Small Napoletana Turning Peels are used to move the pizza inside the oven, and lift it out when baked. Napoletana turning peels are designed to be used in high temperatures and are Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana approved (approved to make real Neapolitan pizzas). The special design and shape of the holes allow ideal removal of excess flour, both when turning the pizza on the head and during the accompanied lifting, typical of the Neapolitan tradition. These peels are designed and tested with the collaboration of the very best pizza makers, in extreme oven temperature conditions and maximum use frequency.
Please note - the length is measured from the top of the peel head, to the end of the handle.

IMPORTANT CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR TURNING PEELS
Gi Metal Turning Peels are designed wholly for lifting and turning the pizza inside the oven.
A large selection of styles and types are available in different weights, solid or perforated heads, with a range of colours and head profiles.
These peels are light weight and strong, it’s very important these are used in accordance with the recommendations, and correctly stored in a hanging rack or wall mounted holder.
This is to prevent accidental damage to the head and the handle.
The turning peels are NOT designed to move logs, pans or other utensils within the oven, using them for such purposes could result in damage and separation of the head and handle.
Please do not hold the peel inside the hot oven for long periods of time to prevent heat damage.
Do not use to scrape debris from the oven floor, the brush and scraper tool are best for this application.
The peels must be used in accordance with its purpose.
LARGE PEELS are used to put the pizza into the oven only.
They are not designed to move wood/ash around the oven, or to remove pizza from the oven. Using your large peel in an incorrect way will result in damage. For removing pizza from the oven please use turning peels, and for moving ash/wood around the oven please use a rake or a shovel.
